COLOR OF BALI – PICTURE OF LIFE

Borobudur and Prambanan

by on December 16th, 2009

Borobudur is a ninth-century Mahayana Buddhist monument in Magelang, Central Java, Indonesia. The monument comprises six square platforms topped by three circular platforms, and is decorated with 2,672 relief panels and 504 Buddha statues. A main dome, located at the center of the top platform, is surrounded by 72 Buddha statues seated inside perforated stupa.

The monument is both a shrine to the Lord Buddha and a place for Buddhist pilgrimage. The journey for pilgrims begins at the base of the monument and follows a path circumambulating the monument while ascending to the top through the three levels of Buddhist cosmology, namely Kamadhatu (the world of desire), Rupadhatu (the world of forms) and Arupadhatu (the world of formlessness). During the journey the monument guides the pilgrims through a system of stairways and corridors with 1,460 narrative relief panels on the wall and the balustrades.

Evidence suggests Borobudur was abandoned following the fourteenth century decline of Buddhist and Hindu kingdoms in Java, and the Javanese conversion to Islam. Worldwide knowledge of its existence was sparked in 1814 by Sir Thomas Stamford Raffles, the then British ruler of Java, who was advised of its location by native Indonesians. Borobudur has since been preserved through several restorations. The largest restoration project was undertaken between 1975 and 1982 by the Indonesian government and UNESCO, following which the monument was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Borobudur is still used for pilgrimage; once a year Buddhists in Indonesia celebrate Vesak at the monument, and Borobudur is Indonesia’s single most visited tourist attraction.

A tired old grandmother

by on December 10th, 2009

So just remember with my grandfather and grandmother … and it turns out life values could not be obtained with the bustle of life and all its complexity, these values can be obtained from a simplicity and adherence to the values of life itself… As evidenced by this grandmother.
A tired old grandmother….. Carrying on a labor market Yogyakarta Beringharjo… and grandmother (70 years). His daily living by providing services in carrying groceries Beringharjo market.

All this is done because of compulsion by the state. She was desperate to make a living in the market to survive Beringharjo feed themselves and their families.

Beringharjo market is a traditional market in Yogyakarta, located at the end of Jalan Malioboro, famous for its traditional snacks “Javanese snacks”.

Power Magic of Beauty

by on October 19th, 2009

Every woman blessed with a different beauty. Courage to explore the potential and beauty show will help women build strength hidden within him.

It’s true. If used wisely, the power is in every woman will help achieve success in various fields of life. Unfortunately, not many women who realize that they have the power within each of them. and the power of nature’s unique, special.
Beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair.

Beauty of a woman must be seen from her eyes, because that’s where the door of his heart was in love.
Beautiful woman painted by the power problem, smiling while depressed, laughing while the heart is crying, bless while humiliated, fascinating because forgiveness. Beautiful woman, to love unconditionally. Gaining strength in prayer and hope.

Take care of beauty that God has given and give thanks with all the advantages gained. I hope you belong to the people – smart people who give thanks.

Dalam bahasa Indo maksud gw kaya gini nih…..  (kl kurang pass kasih input aja..)

Wanita cantik, mengasihi tanpa pamrih.

My Painting

Greeted the Sun-Menyapa Sang Surya

Actually God that great created this universe with very neat, perfect was arranged, beautiful, and impressive. With his gift, then the life thus became beautiful and was full of the color. But, still like that often was found by us the person who felt this life had difficulty, was full of the difficulty, and had the problem so as this world was felt narrow squeezed; not again beauty?

God that powerful made the earth the carpet, where residing for humankind, and being made sky as the roof that was maintained by God, the sky was decorated with circulating stars and sank, so also the sun and the month also circulated. Sky objects functioned as the illumination in darkness as well as the signpost/the direction, and as the decoration for people who gazed at him. The earth that was the planet in the group of the solar system in the wild the universal, created by God for the interests of humankind as the source of the life, was equipped by him the earth with water, various plants, there were those who are fruitful similar, but the difference it seems, and various animal kinds, was made by God with harmonious and balanced. Be enough the mind that was owned by humankind to comfort proof. In a lovely manner this, humankind had the capacity to exploit (used) nature together with his contents.

When damages happening in this earth. Then basically is resulting from the conduct of humankind (“because of that, must be guarded by his conservation and was made use of his contents by being not excessive and was not plentiful”).
