Melasti Sanur 2010

Upacara Melasti atau Melis, Mekiyis, Sabtu (13/3/2010), mengawali ritual perayaan hari raya Nyepi Tahun Baru Saka 1932 yang  jatuh pada Selasa 16 Maret 2010.

Umat Hindu di Bali berduyun-duyun mendatangi laut dan sumber air lainnya untuk nganyudang malaning gumi ngamit tirta amertha, yaitu menghanyutkan segala kotoran dalam kehidupan dan mengambil air dari laut, sungai, danau, dan sumber lainnya sebagai simbol penyucian diri, batin, dengan memohon kepada Sang Sumber Kehidupan.

Warga Sanur misalnya, melakukan upacara Melasti di Pantai Sanur. Berikut ini hasil jepretannya… :) )
